But with Material Traders being a thing now, I usually have enough of something to trade for what I need.
From my Experience, Dave's Hope ussually only has Manufactured Materials, like Conductors and Alloys.
It doesn't really have Raw Materials, like Lead, Chromium, Boron, etc.
As for raw materials, I'm under the impression it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Instead of landing in a hotspot you just land pretty much anywhere and the planet is lightly saturated. So instead of grinding for an hour at a hotspot and filling up you need to drive around for hours only to find a handful of piceous cobbles that will provide you with iron for your hard work.
Do yourself a favor and max out your mats in Horizons while you still can.

I haven't tried it on Odyssey yet, only Horizons.
I still haven't visited any of those... Get most of my raw mats from volcanic regions.
Just found out that those Crystalline Forests in Odyssey no longer give those High Grade Materials, They are now dropping Random Low Grade Materials now. Atleast that is what I am reading on several of the Videos on those planets. Which kinda sucks :/
