Whats up with Low intensity space conflict zones having elites and expert AI ship?
I thought [low intensity] [low security] space conflict zones suppose to have weak ships? Not master, elite, and dangerous AI rank. So if that's the case, what the H*ll does Med and High space conflict zones have? Galaxy destroyer rank???

Earlier today a guy talked about an npc dbs oneshotting anacondas, for real. :D
(was either a bug or the npc had decided to go rogue)

High CZs have heavily engineered ships; low intensity might have one or two elite in the mix.
-that are not heavily engineered, mind you.

I'm seeing signal sources come and go, and some stations being replaced by "Human Signal".
They are either working extremely hard, or the servers are not up to spec yet, or both!
(servers went down two times yesterday, and up again relatively fast after that, which indicates someone was at work. On a sunday, GB)

cheers

Look at the targets I locked on. Look at the AI rank. majority of the ships are like this. I have the Anaconda ship and didn't last. That's why I don't do Space conflict zones.

The difference bet Low and Med CZs I know is there is no wings of Spec Op ship in Low that show up in Med and High. I haven't the noticed combat rank ships in CZ and believe it depends on your combat rank.

Recent patch has broken CZs again when I saw a Fed Corvette fighting for an Anarchy minor faction.

Edit: On a related topic, some NPC Anaconda has SLF to fight alongside when they interdict you since Odyssey.

You can get spec ops in Low too. Just kinda rare. I think it's related somewhat to YOUR combat rating. I always see them in Med/High and roughly half the time in Low (me and crew are both Elite). At Dangerous / Master... about 1/3 of the time? I didn't really count them... just that they gave out the best engineering mats ^_^. All in horizons as I don't want to risk hours only to get glitched trying to dock in Ody.

Right now, taking a fully engineered corvette to a high CZ while being a good pilot isn't that much of a challenge unfortunately.

It would be awesome if the difficulty range was upped by a large margin:

Low CZ = Sidewinders can partake, though not heftily so.
Medium = Median mix of low/high difficulty.
High = Extremely difficult, bordering on impossible.

Details:
Low is small ships like sidewinders, adders, eagles and a viper3/4 as "captains".
Medium is a mix up to T9, no larger. Maybe none of the really small and at most five dedicated combat ships at once.
High is a rampage filled with T10, FDL/mambas/FAS etc, and ofc the big three as captains. Of course combat ships only.

No engineering at low, few at medium, and full at high.

Should one choose to take anything ubergineered to either low or medium, hefty wings of spec ops will of course spawn in, making trampling CZs difficult.

One could also up the range from 1 to 5 instead of only 1 to 3 as it is now.

Combat bonds are of course adjusted accordingly. (low=meagre, medium=mid, high=expansive) Winning the conflict is already a major boon when BGSing.

Imo the highest difficulty needs to be bordering on impossible, bc that is where the challenge is. -i think it would also add more for wings.

I know there are other things more important now, however more options is always nice.

My combat rank is Novice and I use the Anaconda. I still get destroyed. Soon as I start shooting, I get hit and then rammed by enemy ships. Next thing you know it, Im hauling tail frameshifting out of there. Can't last even 1 min. My shield gone and health down to 32% I couldn't find any ship with the rank competent or any lower. I kept on scanning each ship before I engaged. So I just went after the 1 with rank master.
