Well, ... why not? The Private mode is existing, too.
Or an "Interactive Covas Education Module" for those who are interested in other aspects of this game?
story teller that is easy drew wagner is his name on you tube has lots of elite law , if not he rote the book.
as for the other things you may be better joining a expidition .
hope this helps you.
Best of luck cmder o7
Sorry but Nintendo has not released it yet.
You mean solo mode? Yeah, that exists, but its still the same game as open and private group. Its just an instance limiter.
FD aren't making the game you describe.
Its a space trade/combat/exploration game. The things you called nonsense. If the core components are nonsense to you, then its not the game for you.
I do not understand how to interpret advanced interests in astronomy and _education_ as "animal crossing in space" ... :-)
This is just one of the features I AM MISSING:
Yes, this topic is a little boring, but implementing a search function into the news player or an automatic astromony article load function for the playlist would expand the ingame functions.
Basically, yes - It was just a sugggestion, there is no need to reduce the economic aspects - I like the game because of the possibilities that allows to play as I want. I like fliying around, landing, driving /walking, do some minor tasks and enjoying the atmosphere of the game. In this case:
Just some more information and scientific facts about star systems, nebulas, gas clouds, black holes, and other facts about the known space.
But - as mentioned - this is my personal list of missing game parts.
Put on sidewinder or hutton orbital radio.
Put on a podcast about space while playing (learning even more).
Play the CODEX entries ingame to learn more about the ED universe.
Run elite G19s companion app for more background voices and mood.
Drew Wagar has a ton of lore videos (like malorob said; he wrote a book).
Use a small program called elite observatory, that can read aloud found things.
If you find canonn research, most new browsers can read aloud from the website.
The most advanced option is getting voice attack, and adding one of the voice packs that does indeed talk about the stars and things you see when you jump into systems.
https://www.sagittarius-eye.com/
Is a high-grade e-magazine also talking about the ED universe. (podcast available)
Elite week, galnet digest, elite dangerous theory & discovery scanner, are some other youtube things worth mentioning for even more information.
(if you want, suggestions for ED goes here, btw:
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forums/elite-dangerous-suggestions/ )
cheers
Yes something like this as in-game information within elite itself.
("press I for more information about this star system and points of interest")
("press I to open some kind of build-in web browser and NASA telescope contents")
("Use text-to speech for this article")
I think, this could be a very interesting, powerful and unique feature.
