Interstellar Factors not working
Since Odyssey, I just cannot go to them to clear my bounties/fines. I now got killed for NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REASON at my home station because I suddenly AFTER FINISHING A MISSION FOR THEM was considered a criminal. Are you kidding me Frontier? I hope your Computers blow up due to the bugs because you are for us also considered as criminals.

Does ANYONE know how I can get to talk to Interstellar Factors? The button is always greyed out even at stations that are supposedly Interstellar Factor stations. And I have 0 Notoriety.

Like after I cleared myself and handed in all my missions, I am done playing this game for the next half year or longer. I've tried again and again, and one bug or another ♥♥♥♥♥ with me, kills me, makes me lose rep, gets me killed in another way, makes me lose more creds, makes me end up in prison, etc etc, you name it. I am just sick of it. Not once did I rage quit during Horizons, but since Odyssey I have rage quit plenty, and everytime, it was none of my fault.

Thats weird, interstellar factors are working fine for me, are you sure the interstellar faction you are trying to pay your bounties is not the same faction you are wanted?

I mean I went to another system which is far enough away, and it doesn't seem to be the same faction (unless you mean Federation/Empire).

Besides, the station I went to is the same one I used in Horizons without issues, but now the button is just greyed out.

Like, I am wanted at Clement Station in Alpha Fornacis, and I go to Einstein Orbital in Aspelenie to clear myself (usually). Doesn't work anymore. Here: https://eddb.io/station/31705

Usually if you can't use an interstellar factor it's because you have at least 1 notoriety point and it take two hour to get rid of one point. (in game hour).

My bad I just saw you had 0 notoriety point.

Yeah I absolutely aware of this, but since Odyssey, it's always been greyed out. I can try another station but I hardly believe it to be any different there. Just another bug with Odyssey, what a great DLC isn't it :)

UPDATE: Well apparently NOW it worked. The button was greyed out at that Station when I was on foot, and when I tried from the Ship the IF didn't exist in the "Contacts" list anymore. It is back now though. Anyways, I have a feeling like I still come back and get treated like a Criminal, what can I do about that?

Didn't need to, could land just fine now. It's weird, when I had huge bounties I could land there just fine, but once I had a bounty of just 500 creds, I was treated like a Criminal and was shutdown immediately. This game is so odd, weird, unbalanced and completely illogical at times that I am starting to wonder whether Frontier has all their ♥♥♥♥ in the same basket, or whether they maybe need to hire someone to go find all their ♥♥♥♥ that went astray and gather it for them.

I also have a few fines and bounties I can't pay off because the factor doesn't see them.

Yeah that issue I've had plenty of times as well, the factor just couldn't see my bounty. The issue is, some you gotta hand yourself in for. Have you tried disembarking and handing yourself in? That is better btw because you don't have to pay huge fines for your ship as well.

If I'm still Wanted (Notoriety = 0), I swap to Horizon / Ody and try again. That worked for me in the past. Annoying to get this 'synching' bug. It's like they have a diff server handling this between Hor/Ody.

But... I'd stay in the ship to 'turn yourself' in. Once they sent me to a spot some 300LY away. 3~5mins in a Krait... a lot longer via taxi/etc.

Yeah none of the terminals, on foot or in ship, recognize that I have any fines and bounties.

Then the only option is to hand yourself in at the faction where you're wanted. I sometimes couldn't pay it off either and the only option was to hand myself in for "punishment" (where the real punishment is this DLC and the insane drag...).
