heck let us sell pre engineered modules or even whole ships, to me that would make the shipyard and outfitting an actual money maker, as it is now you either break even or have to overcharge and most people will go to a station because of this,
I got a bit off topic there but seriously I've got like 40 of them I could share with you if there was a mechanic that allowed it, I've done all my engineering, I dont need them, we need an endgame/done with engineering use for these mats.
Sure, but if you are spending a lot of time getting those G5 mats it might be better to hunt for something else instead ;)

So if it takes 30-60 minutes to top up a G5, a G4 needs to be doable in 10-20 minutes, a G1 in less than 44 seconds to break even.
I'd say it's definitely better to go for the respective line you want to avoid crosstrading (as long as you manage to be 6x or less slower than imp. shielding alone), but anything below G5 is pretty much never time efficient.
Well, i don't really know the current state of farming most materials. I basically accept material/data rewards when i do missions. Been doing that for a while now. So i'm kind of overloaded on all sorts of materials, especially G5.
Yes, hell yes, what a great idea! So many times now I've flown away from clouds of blown up ship mats because I'm full and can't pick them up. Be awesome if I could collect and on-sell somewhere. Even if it is a dodgy used ship salesman than has "Low Lys, one lady owner, only used on Sunday's" ships :)
