I'm too stupid to know how to stow gun

Tried assassination mission, kept hitting 1, then tried the "harmless" weapons on other keys and still got killed because they are considered weapons

How do I...you know...go from holding a gun...to not holding a gun

Thanks :) I think the problem was I was using a controller, and my keyboard stopped working when I plugged the controller in and it would only use the controller instead.

It was more a lame attempt at a jab at the cops, because the intro made me feel like one for some reason

Just a tip though, learn from my mistake... whatever you remap your "Holster Weapon" key to, make sure it's not right next to your "Throw Grenade" key as that can lead to some really unfortunate (albeit amusing) ways to fail covert missions.

Did that during alpha. Was doing a covert mission and everything was going beautifully. Had just cloned a guard's ID to get into the building I needed to get into... and then I threw a grenade at him instead of holstering my scanner. Whole base went on alert (understandably) and I failed the mission.

Edit: I guess if you're using a controller though, that's less of an issue.
