Guardian Tech question

Recently went looking for guardian sites to start unlocking some of their technology. Was mainly working toward the FSD Booster.

So, after figueing out the puzzle to the guardian site and I had enough mats, I set course for Jameson Memorial to unlock that particular piece of tech.

I went to the tech broker and unlocked it.

My question is where do I find it once it's unlocked? I can't buy/ install it on my ship because It doesn't show up anywhere. I had assumed it was added back to the game, but is this really the case?

Anywhere that has a Guardian tech broker, you can do guardian module stuff. Jameson Memorial in Shinrarta Dezhra is one obvious place

I have to be at the tech broker I unlocked it from?

Example: I unlocked the FSD booster at Jameson Memorial as stated. Do I have to get it installed at Jameson memorial as well or can I go to any system which has the gaurdian component upgrades?

Also, do I install it from the tech broker menu or from outfitting?

No, just at least any tech broker. Once unlocked, I think it's forever unlocked. Don't quote me on that, best bet is go to this game's real forums. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forum.php

Sorry, tried to find these answers but all I could find was how to unlock guardian tech, not how to install them.

You install them like any other module, they really aren't that hard to figure out.

I'm based at a station with a tech broker. ( Guardian weapons). I have looked through all the menus in outfitting and the FSD booster doesn't show up anywhere. I have been to other thech brokers with the same result.

They aren't all that easy to figure out if you are not in the right place.

Then you might not have all the right mats. Check CMDR Exigious on youtube

Mate, it's one of the optional internal module purchase options.
You'll see an FSD icon in there, those are actually guardian FSD modules.

And yes, they are available at any station that has a guardian tech broker in it.

PS. Note that you can only carry ONE Guardian FSD module per ship.
So if your ship already has one of those equipped, the Guardian FSD modules won't be available for purchase anymore. You'll need to either store your Guardian FSD module or use that same slot to replace it for another...otherwise they won't show up.

This ^ I personally went to Magnus Gateway, unlocked four modules went into outfitting, stripped the ship and checked out the modules. They should appear in the buy bit too if you do that...
