What am I looking for sometimes? I've scanned all hackable transmitters (data and comms) and the ship uplink log but my mission hasn't completed :?

I've not run into this before and i've only just started running megaship missions the past few days. They're usually pretty easy though I'm still afraid to assault one >.>

I would search the net; it might just be that one decided to bug out.
Relogging is always the first thing i do when things aren't syncing/updating.

Megaships will paste you, no matter what you fly.

That's horrifying the pasting I was hoping a federal corvette might do more but I gotta find something to do with the federation, are Power play things good for gaining favor?

mission to scan data link on a Sanchez-class Research ship ? scanned 2 hackable data, ship log, and 2 other scannable but can't find the data link to scan - searched the whole ship for over an hour and nothing more to scan - so mission fails
this happened trying to scan another type mega ship also - are some of these bugged?
there are some i have completed that pay 1.5 million per mission, so these are good if they work, but it is not good to fail missions as reputation drops - please fix these = (would be nice to show that mission is completed before heading back to turn it in)

it is still bugged run into it today, only mission was this and uplink did not progress quest as it should. So after several years it is still not fixed. Oh and the bugged megaship is the SANCHEZ CLASS RESEARCHER.

if you see it as a mission target do not take.

I did one today successfully. Just never, ever take more than one of these missions at the same time because it will mix up your targets.

I had only 1 mission this for the Sanchez Researcher type Megaship. (and a few days ago it was also bugged for the Sanchez in another system, also when it was the only mission) All other types of megaships worked for me so far, but researcher uplink scan gives you the uplink message to mail, but does not advance the mission to completed. Also hacking any of the hackables do not work and only give you a bounty, and a flee for your life from the Megaship.

A tip if you are leery of taking "Disable Megaship turrets".....with the turret targets, look at it's subsystems, and select I think it's power relay....basically the power switch.....select that, it will highlight, navigate and aim your ship right in front of it...it look like a 3 or 4 bar electrical power bus...point your nose at it while you're pretty close, and ram into it....a few sparks will fly, and you'll see the switch/bus deactivate / close....mission accomplished and nary a shot fired. And there is no retaliation.
