Bartering NOT working. (solved)
And I am full of materials. What to do?
In the same time I have found about 100 not working power regulators and 1 working.

1. Game check if you have place for materials that will be added, but still count items you offered as a part of inventory
2. Game adds items you get into your inventory and only then removes items you offered from your inventory
I suppose my english is not good enough to be completly clear here, but what i`m trying to say, is that reducing amount of items i offer in deal worked for me because i was almost at full inventory as well, so when i reduced it, checkbox N+J <=1000, where N is amount of items i own and J is amount of items i get, came to true. Only after that game removed items i offered in barter from my inventory, so problem dissapeared for next trades, because now i had a lot more place. And that broken error message supposed to be a message with text, that there is no free place in our inventory.

You can also sell them instead of trading. :awswvara:

Oh yeah? That would be silly tho.

Can you see that error message near the trade button? i`m not sure what it is, but when i had that, i just reduced amount of meterials in 1 transaction, so that massage dissapeared, after that i was able to trade, try it, it might help.

Nope but I figured out what the problem was, my inventory was full. Selling just 1 item cleared it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Well it cleared up my inventory some, but I still have a lot of stuff and no where to use it.

Get the npc mission to a distress beacon.

If there's landed ship, it has two power regs.

I am not completely sure what your issue is, OP.

You need some of the stuff for engineering, so you can write down what you need and just sell the rest at the bartender. (both assets & goods)

I still have no idea what the "You will gain X units" mean.
Units of what exactly?? XD

No matter what i trade on that menu, i don't get anything back from what i can see.

OR just take a lot of reactivation missions from factions you don`t care about, cancen them, keep all those reguletors and just pay the fine. Few million credits definetelly worth it, i`ve got around 60 regulators in few minutes, and honestly, i think that is the fastest way atm.

But you can't use them for upgrades can you?
DESLAND May 29, 2021 @ 4:02pm
I can, and already used to get 2 suits to grade 4, now i just need more schemes. Funniest thing here is that i could use them for upgrade even before i abondoned the mission.

Yea they might need to relocate the regulator to somewhere at the mission area, or otherwise change smth around, bc you're effectively just paying 100k&small rephit per unit.

I still don't understand what it is you get in return when you trade at the bar.
nvm, found a video explaining it; it even says "what do you need" at the top of the screen.
xD

So just to be clear, the fact that they are marked with a mission tag doesn't matter? They can still be used?

Just to be clear - yes, it absolutely does not matter. At the moment i have 47 entries in my inventory for Power Draw Regulator, all of those are "unique", so they don't stack, and they all are marked as "mission". Still, when i open upgrade suit section, there are 47 available, and ready to be used for an upgrade, Power Draw Regulators.
