Asp X is okay if you want to use it for other roles like mining.
Ok, on the up side its quite agile and fun to fly one. On the down side it can't carry anywhere near as much cargo as the Type 6.
If you want to do rares trading though it should be fine.
Asp also costs nearly 4x as much.
Personally I own at least 1 of every available ship. I've spent the last two and half years circumnavigating the galaxy in a Beluga, but when I'm not as far out there as I can get, I spend a great deal of time in either an Orca or a Dolphin, just depending on what I feel like doing.
If I'm looking to pad my pockets with trade goods, it's a Type-9 for me. Previously I used a Type-7, but the Type-9 has vastly more cargo space and is infinitely cheaper to acquire, outfit and maintain than either a Corvette or Cutter, and will pay for itself in about 1/3 the time, as the Cutter has only a 4 ton advantage, if you make it a paper tube.
