So far, the autopilot has been rock solid, no major issues for me. It even rocks the glide well, whereas, I have been known to screw that up significantly!
Remember we will have our main ships when this goes live.
NO!
if you don´t want to test come back in phase 2
There is 9 stations and 100 downports.
you do know having youre own ship will not make it any faster ?????
hahahahaha people having youre own ship is just as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow as taking a taxi wake up people god some people are stupid
Actually having your own ship would make it faster in many circumstances. We can orientate ourselves with the orbits and gravity wells more efficiently than the taxi drivers.
Also imagine you're on a station 100,000ls from the main star in the system and you want to get to a station 75ls from it. A taxi will fly you 100,000ls in supercruise, whereas you can simply high wake somewhere, jump back, immediately be at that main star and enjoy a short 75ls jaunt to the destination. Lots of little things like this. It'll definitely be much quicker.
The distance is however on player. I basically only pick the missions around the same star I currently am. So taxi never takes that long.
In both cases, you have no interactions with the game, and can go afk/alt tabbing it won't change a thing.
Spoilsport!
You must admit its pretty cool you can play this whole game now without ever flying yourself.
