Download from launcher?
Can't we download Odyssey from Steam?
The launcer download speed is terrible over here, like 0.5mb/s

you actually got the option to download it? i still don't have it.. i pre-ordered the deluxe alpha back in Dec.

Yeah, bought from steam. But i was surprised that i have to download it from Frontier Launcher and not steam. That sux so much, since the download speed is really slow.

ah, found out what i was doing wrong.. i was going to ED: Horizon on the pre-launch menu.. so i never saw the option for Odyssey

where is the option. i see elite dangerous, horizon, combat training and arena in the laucher. is there odyseey option? i already purchase deluxe yesterday

Yeah it should be there, check if its marked in the steam too.

no you can't, i had to install base game today. now i see alpha download on launcher.

3 hours synching files it stated. 3 hours later, I have another 2 hours to go, geez should have waited for the £29 version.

Yah I had issues with ED Launcher updates for years now .. and wasn't able to find solution for its low speeds anywhere yet

Alphas/Betas for this game are being downloaded by the game launcher, they are not published on Steam.

Can you try to switch to a different downloading method in the game launcher settings (the Frontier's one, not Steam)?
