Once you have reached max reputation, just pin the blueprint. You still need to head to the Engineers workshop to apply the experimental effect.
I guess that's what's confusing me. I have Felicity's blueprint pinned to craft FSDs, and I'm at a workshop in the system I'm at. Now, does that mean I've maxed out her rep, so there's no reason to travel?
I'm asking because I want to continue unlocking engineers, and I don't know if I need to craft at her location to do that.
Thanks again!!

Once rep is maxed, you pin the blueprint and then craft them when needed, you still need to get back for the experimental.
The Reputation is not the Faction reputation, I mean Engineer Grade reputation (i.e. what max grade you can craft, max is 5)
Increasing rep with Felicity only unlocks Juri Ishmaak, which is not really crucial, even I haven't unlocked him really. The Dweller (Power Dist, lasers) and Tod "The Blaster" (multi cannons, rails), and Elvira (shield gen, also FSD and then you can have Felicity for G3 Drives) are far more important early on.
Okie dokie! Gotcha, I turned in a bunch of data to her when I made the trip, which allowed me to give her the alloy.
My Vulture is needing power, so I probably need to find the engineer to work on power plant output. Or maybe distributor. Not sure, heh.
When I engineer the FSD on my Vulture, does that apply to all the FSDs on my ships of that type/class of Frame Shift Drive, or just for what's on the Vulture? Didn't know if I should pay to have my Asp X transferred to where I'm at in order to upgrade that ship...
Thanks Again J-J!

Felicity offers G1 Power plant, that's a very darn good starting point for the Vulture, G1 Overcharged with Monstered is extra 25% I think which is crazy.
At some point you want to unlock Hera Tani, G5 power plant upgrades, you need to go through lyz Ryder, that Inara website offers a good glimpse which engineers you need to unlock to get to others.
I unlocked them in batches, but The Dweller, Felicity and Tod alone are life changing :-)
'Monstered' is the experimental part you referred to earlier?
Thanks J-J...you've been a GREAT help!
So I did the G1, and wanted to do the next. It's saying to craft modules to unlock that next one. Just keep crafting the thing I just did until it's available?

*edit* -->oooh, I kept going with the materials I had until that first level was maxed out. And now to go to G2 (?), I have to go back to the engineer to unlock that? And there...I can do the experimentation for 'Monstered'? Maybe if I scan on the trip down there I can earn the reputation I need for the next level of engineered FSD.
Farseer only has Grade 1 Powerplant.
Also keep an eye on the progress of each grade, you don't really need to max out, only until the next one is "lit up" then move on to next grade.
Felicity only offers power plant G1, but keep an eye when doing the FSD :-)
good luck!
Yeah, I was watching the FSD G1 progression, and it 'lit up' the G2 FSD. I have the materials, but the box indicates that I have to increase reputation to work on that next grade....?
Much Appreciated!!
