How to launch Odyssey

I feel stupid. I have an existing ED game I have been playing for ages. I bought Horizons then Odyssey. I believe I need to launch the regular ED without Horizons to lay Odyssey, correct? But after I launch regular ED, I see no option to play Odyssey. Is there a mission selector in stations? Where do I go from my floating location in space to play odyssey missions?

Select Odyssey in the scroll list on the launcher before pressing play.

If you can't see Odyssey on the list, try re-linking to steam on the webaccount.
(you may have to restart steam to get it to work)

I am fairly sure they will add VR on-foot eventually, the question is which year. x)
