New Player Needs a Trainer/Community

I have had several false starts in the game and have finally concluded that I just need someone with the patience and attitude to train me on the basics. If there are any communities or friendly players out there who would be willing to spend some time with me in game and teach me everything, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Did you try galactic academy discord server friend?

Do the training tutorials and use them to become familiar with and adjust your controls. While in a tutorial you can escape, options, controls to find and adjust how you want it to work. Then apply, resume to test it out. Don't worry about dying or losing in a tutorial just restart it.

Also make some cheat sheets to keep in front of you or just to the side as you play about the controls cuz you won't remember all of them all the time.

There's also a manual but I'm not sure how up-to-date it is.
