hi, i actually test some variant of a conda build to reduce integrity damage if someone got tips its welcome.

Fly carefully.
The short answer is that you don't. Integrity is effectively on a timer that runs while you are moving around.
Nothing can withstand solar radiation forever, but don't worry about integrity too much unless it's true hull/module damage. I had been out in the black for over a year and had no issues.

Normal integrity loss over time can´t be reduced.
If you integrity is ex. at 0% your hull is 30% more vulnerable to dmg. .

You can reduce module/hull damage.

for me the damage is due to the friction of the speed therefore thermal, if the game is based on scientific facts the fact that kinetic thermal resistance does not reduce the damage of integrity it is not science. is a design bug

Basically this. It just makes you more vulnerable. But the great thing is that Auto-Field Maintenance Units are weightless and can be turned off when not in use so literally only cost you the 2 slots so that's your modules safeguarded.

When it comes to hull, explorers almost get the same deal with repair limpets, a 1D weighs 0.5t and is sufficient for a deep explorer that is more or less weight stripped and made of ductape and tissue paper anyway, don't even need to carry the limpets ready as 20x simple metals that can be found on/in just about any planet or asteroid for 4x repair limpets is more than sufficient for anything you'll ever do out there.

It's funny, of all the threads I've read most of the people who worry about integrity which doesn't even strictly equal hull health are the people who for some reason don't even carry hull and module repair facilities lol. Boggles the mind really.

im not a noob, i got 3k hours 33 ships all enginers unlocked, some Colonia travel 3x Elite.

If we got ENGINERS for nothing what the purpose of enginering if build a ship with resistance have nonsense.....Im desapointed by this mechanic which has nothing scientific.

It's generalised wear and tear from acceleration and whatnot. If you want to reduce that, fly your ship less. It's the little bits that start rattling, weird random plastic caps you find all over the place without knowing where they come from, etc. If you've ever been around any piece of mechanical equipment, you should know about it.

The integrity degradation happens from flying in supercruise, so it's not from friction. It could be from the interaction with those negative mass particles, required for FSD to operate.

indeed i can stop pilot a bugged ship.

i understand that parameter, but why ship resistance not work ?? what s the goal if you got a enginer to renforce your resistance if you got no results.... i got the same thing with Thargoids resistance is usuless...Exploration same...

Resistance reduces combat damage, it's an entirely different thing.

Because of the resistance not working against negative mass particles?..

The whole FSD is a theory, based on something that hasn't been discovered yet. You are trying too hard with applying science to a game world. :)

I can't agree, resistance is made to make the ship stronger in combat and everything you do with...

Well I thought it was apparent that the tips, explanation and observation weren't aimed at you specifically. I was expanding upon what someone else said e.g. that vulnerability cannot be escaped but the secondary effects of it can be mitigated significantly. Gotta remember all kinds of players will read these threads veterans and newbies alike and especially the latter can take things away from them whilst missing out on finer details because they were more or less omitted due to being obvious to the OP or posters with more hours.
