Corrosive cargo

Let's say I don't want to deal with corrosive cargo hold stuff, can I carry the thargoid heart to my carrier with my ship then jump to technology broker then carry it again to the broker?

Probably can, although it wasn't doing enough damage to my ship to even bother with that. Just picked up some corrosive cargo and fuelscooped and flew my way to where I was going.

I don't even remember what it was or why I wanted it, but the damage it does is pretty slow. I guess it could get a bit expensive in a bigger ship, but if you can afford the ship, you can likely afford the repairs.

You're able to buy smaller Corrosion resistant CR (2 tn & 4 tn I think) at some outfitters. If you want the 16 tn CR then you'll need to do the 5K Ly run to get access to Palin, he's the only one who can supply them. Fly safe Cmdr. o7

Corrosive (thargoid) cargo is not damaging your hull but your modules by slowly taking 1% health over time. Eventually your modules will be broken and you'll die but again - it's a slow proccess.
