cheapest: adder
cheap:DBX
Diamondback Explorer, Asp Explorer, Krait Phantom will do the job just fine and are well within your bank range. Even Orca can do it surprisingly well.

i already own asp explorer but i have stuff like vehicle bay in it is it worth it to deck it up for long range travel or better to have separate ship for that my current jump range is 27-30 ly

Some people made their experience to the center and beyond of the galaxy with just a Sidewinder. :interesting:

My advice to get not bored is to inrease your jump range with engineers and get the "Guardian Frameshift Drive Booster" for more jump range.

My explorer ships got all a SRV on board. It´s just relaxing to take it out and have a nice trip on a planet in the deep space. From time to time you´l find an another commander and have a nice adventure. :rynn_happy:

yeah probably will have to try to get some fsd upgrades thanks for the tip
Cheapest is the Hauler, it can give you 30ly without any engineering and that includes shields.

Next one should be DBX. There are several tutorials on outfitting recommendations, the most common suggestion you'll hear is get D rated (lightest) components, except for the FSD

No guns, D rated shields (some people run without shields I think is too dangerous), utility some heatsinks if any, SRVs, AFMS, DSS.

good luck!

I would equip an extra one of this, if you have a spare rack space. :)

It seems to me that you already have a very good contender for an exploration ship; Asp Explorer.

I've done most of my exploration with my AspX, and for a very long time my jump range was about 55LY, I had the 5A FSD engineered a bit (G3 I think?), 5H FSD Booster and many D-rated modules to keep the weight down. In the recent Coalsack trade CG, I gained the engineered 5A FSD as a prize, so now my jump range is 64LY. I have 1 SRV, 1 AFMU, Repair Limpet Controller, 6A Fuel Scoop, 3A Shield generator and a small cargo rack for the limpets. No guns now, I used to have a mining laser as asteroids can give you some needed materials if you're in a pinch, but with enough materials, I've ditched it.

I think it's worth it to do the Guardian stuff to gain access to the FSD Booster and the 6A Fuel Scoop is expensive, about 28 million, but with that you don't have to scoop much to fill your tank.

Edit:
You can save weight by not having an SRV hangar, but with SRV you can drive at planets and gather materials to synthesise a FSD injection, which will give you a boost for your next jump, but this should be used to get to places that are otherwise unreachable with your normal jump range.
