Next expansion most likely will not be free anyways so we will see.
yes, it is cross play with Steam and with Frontier store version.
That's false. I play VR games on Epic, even SteamVR games on my Windows Mixed Reality headset as well as my Oculus Quest 2 through Virtual Desktop and through Oculus Link.
let them, they just hate epic games cuz they give games for free
This. Only I'm signed into a vpn with a junk email i don't use for anything else. They won't get anything from me.
Epic loves to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about how they are needed to compete with steam (when they weren't) then they take titles so the customer has no choice but to use them, the very antithesis of being competitive.
If I needed another Elite copy (and I already have 2), $10 is something that I can afford to spend without thinking much. Free on Epic is too expensive for my taste. I would rather pay for the ability to avoid that store.
could be cheaper to get arx as well?
It just uses steams download CDN not the login api. You still need a Frontier account.
Foul how?
I've been on the fence about ELITE for several years, until I decided to give it a shot this year.
Easily my best find in 2020, over 600 hours clocked.
I'd say this game needs a mindset.
These two videos nudged me towards purchase:

For the record, I don't blow up player's ships. I just like to tease and get and give a thrill.
Maybe they drop some cargo, maybe they don't. It's not worth it blowing them up, whichever side I look at it. Still don't understand people who do that
