IS bounty hunting worth the time for credits now?

I am hoping that a few hours at a Haz Res will more than take care of the weekly upkeep on the FC now. I do not have to worry about it at all for a few years, but BH is fun, but will be more so if the payouts are enough to do something with now.

Id like to know that as well...Im not equipped for Haz Res yet, but yesterday I took 3 assassination missions, and barely got any cr for them..granted 1 of them was mostly harmless and the other one, expert, and for the expert mission I think the payout was around 500k credits

depends if you can shoot anything or not, but making 20m for weekly fleet carrier payment takes maybe 10 minutes.

and bounty hunting has been decent money all the time, maybe not fastest way to make money but still pretty much / hour if you know how to min/max it.

i did assasination and it was over 5m / kill so not good / hour as it can take some time to find target.

I have an engineered Corvette with all beams, engineered on it, engineered shields and other engineered extras on it. I think I shall check it out, maybe not tonight, but in the next day or two for sure.

Yes, very well worth it as long as you go to an active area like haz res zone and can kill quickly. Got some wing mates I've been flying with and we earn millions having a ton a fun while at it. Not sure if masscare or assasination is better vs just going to haz res zone. Of course if you take a massacare mission you also get bounty vouchers, so you could easily rack in 30 kills in an hour and collect like 8 mil or so between the bounties and the mission itself.

taking massacre missions for 30 targets can be 40 million / mission and you can stack couple of those from different corporations and if you can kill fast it take way less than hour to kill 30, so if you are lucky with missions it is easy 200m+/ 30 kills

WoW, im curious, how do you get these big numbers? does this depend on your ship and combat rank and/or reputation with the faction?

From what i'm hearing, bounties are superb now and its a good way to make money.

Remember to not pay attention to the number that shows when you get a kill, that's still showing the old number. Look in your left panel at the transaction tab to see the real number.

Well for me, the numer of cr was the same in the transaction tab as it was in the mission board screen...and the biggest bounty was around 500k for an expert assassination

yes, it is about combat rank, those Elite missions gives better level rewards

FD definitely said bounties have increased and people are confirming this, so no idea why you are not seeing bigger numbers in the transaction tab.

I'm not sure about mission payouts, but i think FD said those are also increasing.

Woo hoo, I went and made a quick 12 million, just 13 LY away and bookmarked the system with the Haz Res.

I saw the same numbers on the top right as I did in the transactions tab, my highest bounty was 245,000 credits or so. I still made 12 million though.

yes, those notifications has old values but actual pay is multiplied by some factor

If you're bounty hunting you don't do missions, you find the nearest haz res with a station or planetary settlement nearby for effective repair/reload times than go hunting.

I know yesterday my first repair stop with multicrew netted me 11 million, 19 million the next trip. I am at deadly rank so I know my combat rank scaled pay is damn worth it now.
