Curious, Offline Solo play with Mods. Possible?

I was thinking more of a small money cheat or something, obviously Im not interested in being banned from a game Ive paid to play so Online "cheats" are not something im interested in.

GTA V has plenty of "offline story mode" mods (which is the only way I play, Offline) I was just curious if Elite had something similar. Ive owned the game for years and have always played solo (when I did play) but I want to explore without grinding for weeks just to be able to survive a pirate attack.

Mods available? I've no idea, thus my post before I even look.

Even if you play solo your actions affect the shared universe, so no, there are not mods or cheats to make it easy, it would be unfair for other players.

Anyways it's easy to make money as long as you progress in the game and get better ships.

This is correct, even you can get next level ship per day till python (Sidewinder > cobra mkIII > asp explorer > python) by just shipping stuff and dodging pirate interdiction in solo mode just fine.
