yes and no.
look at your clock and look at game clock.
single time 6:00 means 6 am
double digets 20:00 means 8pm " how easy 20 - 12 = 8 "

this is 24 hour clock system.

if you are going on a trip just check you discord on a eta when their FC is arriving and get on it.
as departure could be when you are asleep

seen in another post you thinking about going to banana neb just a heads up the carrier is in the bubble so if you want you can go and dock there, this way you will not miss the bus

I am going to the banana nebula and already loaded and ready to go. The carrier is leaving 22:00 game time Sept 2. I am trying to figure out what that is in EST.

22:00 (UTC) is 18:00 (EDT) - the daylight saving time is active, and 17:00 (EST).

FYI i figured out the clock. inara have the gem clock in top LH corner. hover over it give that timezone change to the game clock.
