Which superpower should I pledge to?
As the title says, im thinking about joining the powerplay thing, but I mostly spend my time as a delivery man in the game, which superpower(s) should I align to if I still want to mostly do that?

Go Fed or Empire to grind those ranks to unlock faction rank ships and permits to a few systems. (Fed for the Sol system permit and Empire for there home system permit)

Its largely just flavour.

By the way, you're talking about powers or superpowers?

There are like 11 powers in the game and you work for them through powerplay.

There are 3 superpowers in the game. Federation, Empire, and Alliance. You work for them via the BGS (missions mainly).

Working for the Fed/Empire can unlock ships and access to permit locked systems.

anything empire. kill everything federal :)

Alliance, they are the underdogs that stay on top, born through violance and corruption between the empire and the federation, strive for a better future and try to maintain relations where possible.Their focus on trade and generally being the good guys means they don't get much beef inless they look for it.
Sweet sweet trade divadends and a better tomorrow are just 2 reasons to vote for good ol' eddy mahony..
Oh and they don't permit lock every other system they own.

Depends
For fun, alliance, especially the pack hound missile cheap ship guy

For flexing power, Imperials, especially the woman that makes prismatic shields, also has a great home system called cubeo

For...well I geuss for sol? federation? their ships are ugly just decent shoeboxes up until corvette, and zachary hudson is a kind of a turd...

note that alliance line ships generally dont have many, if any, advantage over their federal or imperial counterparts, so might be best to start with one of those two

go for whichever power you believe is better

federation being america in space, the alliance being €urope in space, and The Empire being the space Roman Empire

NB : federation being canon fodder for pvper usually but they have cool ships for pvp which is kind of ironic.

Empire : that one guy who has fancy ships as well as the best pve ships around should you grind reputation for a cutter.

Alliance : they love goids, but they also build the ship for hull tanking them, also they eat pop corn while watching the empire giving a beating to the feds each week

I'd like to say you can push rank for empire and fed while staying pledged to others even if you dont run tickets, you might fly in hostile systems but inless you are active pusher/runner npc's don't see you as a threat and generally other cmdrs stay out of the way.

Empire is faster to rank up in if thats sounds good.

All depends on which faction weapon/device you want to unlock IMO. I'd start with Aisling Duvale and get your Prismatic Shield Generator Unlocked. Note: once you leave a super power that unlock goes away, so be sure to equip or at lease buy the shields you want to have before moving on to the next power.

Also forgot, alliance ships are allegedly thargoid stompers, even a lone chieften can take out an interceptor, however other faction's ships will work well too, they will just be much more expensive thargoid killers

Empire... Because one is "Daenerys" and the other one is a Milf... also one Gilf

People are confusing super powers here with powerplay faction powers. You do not gain any Pilots Federation ranks or ships directly from powerplay. Only PP ranks, merits and modules. And since you cannot 'pledge' to any superpower in the game directly I'm assuming the OP is talking about PP. I would start with Aisling or one of the Empire related PP factions. Get to rank 3 and and stay there for 4 weeks and get your prismatic shield generator unlocked. Definitely worth it.
