Your idea gains support, FD take a look and agree to allow you to jump on a transport ship. FD then ask the community, should we have insta-travel or real time. Community overwhelmingly votes real time.
Result: you sit in a passenger ship watching your own ship out of the window being transported, jump for jump, along side you. In real time.
Result: waste of FDs time and no improvement the way you want.
Its just the way the community is here. We had a vote to transfer ships instantly or with a timer...timer was voted for and implemented. The core player base actually wants to do this, believe it or not.
Do what Dolphin says...
No,the true result is that you logout the game and login some days later when your ship is at its destination
LOL. This.
Na, if you log out then you don't progress with the journey.
And if you play games that make you dread things in game, there is something wrong.
Id go with on a timer like transfering a ship and you can log out while the timer runs down.
Jump after jump isnt really thrilling gameplay. So a way to skip over it with a credit and time cost seems fair :)
Why did you head out there?, just out of curiosity
For the poon-tang.
For alien / thargoid poontang?
Can't argue with that
What is wrong is having to waste hours of real time just to travel in a game...
