Hot Spots

With the new patch does this mean the single hot spots have gotten a buff from a waste of time to mediocre or average?

Would this improve Dual hot spot to better than average?

I really don't see the issue, maybe because I'm new to the game (around 120 hours or so) and only started mining last weekend.
I've made around 100 million from what I guess to be four or five mining trips and to me that seems like a reasonable amount, considering the payout for any missions are so low.

Welcome to the game! Two weeks ago I was similarly optimistic and happy about my first billion which I mined from 3xLTDs.
Now I have 4x ships I most wanted and no more credits after their ugrades, (curent balance left ~5x rebuy costs for my most expenisve ship, which is 30mil).
