now that i have stolen goods, why do all the black markets say "unavailable" ?

trying to sell to 5 different black markets but they all say unavailable , how do i sell my stolen goods?

You might be in an area where one of the more 'lawful' of the powerplay groups is in charge. A Lavigny-Duval is one. When she takes over a system, all the black markets close down.

Using the filters on the galaxy map, make sure you get away from who-ever's area of influence is affecting the markets and try another system.

Not all stations have black markets. So they are not unavailable, they are non existent.

You can see if a station has a black market by selecting the station in the system map, then going to the information tab. You'll see "black market" in the available services if the black market is available. In your cases, though, you would have seen black market listed under "unavailable services" or something along the lines of that.

Just head to any Anarchy system. Most stations in those have black markets.

they may be physically absent on stations(nor orgnized crime, formed, yet ;) or temporally "disabled" because system or station/faction state impact.

i have found 3 stations with the black market finder and there is a black market tab, but the tab states "unavailable" under "black market"

i will look for a system near me with a black market that is not controlled by the same powerplay group

i was in zemina torval's area, now that i left that colored powerplay area the black markets are now open

That might be because the system was anarchy but now a lawful faction is in control. In those situations the black markets remain visible but they are shut down.
