Unable to locate "Captains Logs"
So I've been enjoying this game for almost an month now. And wanted to make my expirance an bit better by using EDEngineer. Which means linking that to your player logs. Now i've searched all over my drives. The "Saved Games" folder everyone refers to does exist, But has no ED folder. Found my Netlogs. but the app doesnt use them (as far as i'm aware atm). So my hunt for my Captain Logs is at an wits and. Any of my fellow Commanders who can help?

EDIT:
The answer posted needs some clarification.
IF your windows is not NATIEVE English [as mine is]. This won't work.
However the files are there.

What did 'm in was searching for the following file name: Journal.*.log.
So if you're having trouble locating your logs, for whatever reason. Search for them. You might have to be patient.

Have an coffee, go outside. etc etc.
Once it's done WHEREVER it might be on your pc. It'll find it.

Following post goes deeper into it:

Pretty sure the appdata folder is hidden by default so try showing those and looking again.

Local & Roaming searched, neither has the journal**.log files. I always have hidden folders shown.

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/cannot-find-player-journal-log.405782/post-6612072 Try that if the above hasn't worked. But the previous location posted by others is where it should be, I assume you mean Journal.log btw

Thanks for the reply, the folder Saved Games is fully shared within my home network. To the point right now where all users have full access. Excessive, yes. An solution unfortunately no.
And yes i meant journal.log.

Odd. It should be in the saved games location. Have you contacted Frontier and asked them, they will should be able to help in that regard?.

As an afterthought, is it a hidden file and you don't have hidden files showing?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

E:D Market Connector linked to Inara will pass on all scan data, mats collected etc to your Inara log so you can see how often you're able to execute a particular mod at an engineer or what mats you are short of or are in need of. It's a small app run in the background while you are playing the game. I recommend this program to everyone. It's indispensable. Fly safe Cmdr . o7
