Where can I buy an Orca?

I’m in the vicinity of Ay Indi. What stations in which systems nearby would have orcas to sell?

I’ve seen Sol might, but I don’t have a permit for them yet. Is that something that is easy to get and do they have Orcas?

Or are there other open systems I can jump to and pick one up quickly.

Also keep in mind that if you buy in a system under control of Li Yong-Rui you get the ship for 15% less. Adds up when buying expensive ships like an orca.

Just open the link that Ziehn gave you and fill in "Reference System" with AY Indi, "Powers" with Li Yong-Rui, "Power Effects" with Control, and "Station sells Ships" with Orca. Then, click "Find Stations". Try it yourself first, but the answer is Good Enterprise in the BD-15 447 system.

The best discount is in Alioth system, Irkutsk station: you get 20% for the Orca (and the Asp Explorer).

But the system is permit-locked. Still worth unlocking it for an Engineer there that you might want to go later, too.

Thanks for the help! It looks like Good Enterprise in BD-15 447 is the closest that gives the discount. And several others that are within 100 Ly or so.

Another little tip for you when you're traveling to buy ships is to outfit a hauler for maximum jump range and take that. A rated FSD and D rated everything else except the fuel scoop.
While you might get a better deal on the ship at distant stations, there's no certainty on being able to outfit it for traveling where you buy it.

You take your little taxi ship there, buy the new ship, then come home in your little taxi ship and pay to have the new one delivered to your home station. You still save a lot of money and if the station where you buy the new ship just has crap components, (no FSD or fuel scoop the right size) you still get your new ship home quick and easy. Deliveries don't seem to consider how the ship is fitted. They just get it there.
When I got my first anaconda, flying it home 120 ly was a nightmare since I couldn't get a better FSD or fuel scoop or even decent weapons where I bought it.
