PVE Anaconda Weapons Loadout
Hello,

I m currently fitting my Anaconda for unengineered pve combat, but I ran into the problem that I have no idea which weapons would be good.
I want to use it for Bounty hunting and, if needed with a slightly different loadout, also for combat zones.

I don’t mind the Budget, I can make credits quickly. And I don’t want to engineer or engage in powerplay so no faction specific weapons.

I hope someone can help me on that.
Greetings, Jasper

My conda just used pulse lasers in every hard point for PVE. It worked well enough.I only ever engineered was it's FSD.

Not a good build by any means but I run Beams in the 3 large slots, and then every other slot multi-cannons. The beams are power hungry, but they melt shields nicely, and the MCs melt anything below a large ship amazingly.

Debated replacing every MC with seeker missiles to see wat mayhem I can cause

Avoid combat zones in an unengineered Conda, and possibly haz res depending how good you are at coping with wings.

With enough hull and module reinforcements and Skill Boosters should be fine. Especially if he plops in a fighter bay.

^For RES maybe, as I said it will depend how well he can cope with wings, or possibly ignore wings and go For single targets, but in that case it would probably more efficient to stick to high sites. For combat zones, I'd be hesitant to recommend he go in anything but at least a moderately engineered ship, a combat spec Anaconda is a lot of money to rebuy and will draw a lot of attention. We don't really need any more salty forum posters.

For PVE I used to run 2x Large Gimbled Pulse Lasers, 1x Large Gimbled MC, 2x Medium Gimbled MC, 1x Huge Gimbled Beam Laser, 2x Small Turretted Beam lasers. Now I've converted to an Thargoid hunting loadout.

Go a mix of lasers and multies. Toss a couple of turrets in there.

Why no engineering? Trust me engineering is worth it

Thanks a lot for all your reply’s. I will make sure to build the Conda up according to your advices. When I take her into Combat Zones, don’t worry, I’ll need at least 100 million credits extra.

And I don’t do Engineering cause I hate the grind. Honestly I’m currently working on engineering my FSD to the max, it’s the most unpleasant thing I’ve ever done in a video game. So no thanks, I won’t grind.

I won’t posts salty, I promise. I love this game for beeing what I’ve always wanted in terms of scale, flying around and Exploration. Looking forward to the next update.

Go with lasers, make combination of beams and bursts to achieve good distributor energy consuption. Not too fast not too slow. take one afm for repairing coz sometimes you can overheat. Fighter can help.

Huge Multicannon, and then Pulse lasers.

I personally would engineer the Multicannon. I mean, Todd is easy a hell to Unlock, and Corrosive shell with either an Overcharge or Short Range Blaster G3 is a titanic improvement to overall DPS for almost zero effort.

I used to go for LR vent beams on the 2 medium gimballed and 2 large fixed, and fixed LR cannons on the bottom large and huge, the small I had turreted cannons with special effects.

Was a fun load out.

If you could just see what a difference engineering has on a ship.......you would see it is worth it.... also NOW AFTER ALL THE CHANGES,,,,it is a breeze.

Good call on getting your FSD engineered. I can understand why you want to avoid engineering, and that's totally fine. If you're going that route, i would recommend gimballed multicannons in the huge and large hardpoints, and gimballed or turreted pulses in the medium and smalls. Going all lazers will draw your destributor almost instantly, so i would put emphasis on distributor friendly weapons like multicannons. Cannons will also work.
