black markets suck

Why are these implemented so bad? Even using a black market finder it's a pain in the ass. The black market finder here:

Is just wrong. It says there's a for sure black market in Garay City in m tauri, but there's not. I've been there and it's not there.

It lists 90% of locations as "maybe" which is just useless.

Yesterday I found 2 black markets. Today I've visited 3 federation democracies and found none.

All I want is to unlock the dweller. WTF can't I just bribe him?

I don't even want to sell slaves. But I'm hauling slaves around trying to find people to buy them. My ship keeps overheating from silent running, they're probably all dead now.

Inara or eddb are your best bets to find a black market.

Inara can search systems by faction, alliance, and government. The galaxy map can already do all that. I need a black market finder that actually works.

Right now all I can do is jump to federal democracies at random and hope a station in system has a black market.

Eddb can search for stations within a certain distance of a reference star with certain things like a black market.

About half the government types disable any black market present at the station. In practice it's much higher than that, since it includes Feudal, Patronage and Corporate, which make up a large chunk of both the Empire and Federation.

True.... if i remember correctly Archon Delaine adds black markets to all stations in his systems - perhaps worth a shot selling your stuff there?
