Python Robigo Build
Just bought the python and I'm looking to try and get the best jump range for robigo passenger missions, I don't care at all about combat or anything else, a purely robigo build for the python!

You might want some heatsinks for silent running, particularly if you can't dock very quickly.

Why bother with the wanted passengers? I just board flip until I have a full ship of rich tourists. Worst thing they ever want is for me to pick them up some consumer electronics... but they can suck it up.

Also @AheeeBob, a good tip is, for your first few trips, skip the cash and take the reward that gives you increased reputation. The idea is to get allied with the stations in Robigo as fast as possible, because then they start giving you missions worth WAY more money.
Breaks up the monotony a bit.

Haha, I guess! Last time I was there I was doing runs in my 10mill rebuy Beluga, so I wasn't taking any chances lol

Yep, I'm just going to ground out the Python, doing like 6 jumps once i get the best non engineered FSD, then once i get 200mil, get the annaconda asnd do the same thing, but ill be able to do it with 2 jumps once i have thew annaconda with the best fsd
For the Robigo <-> Sirius Atmospherics sightseeing runs in solo, all you really need is: ~18LY jump range, a shield to avoid dents in the hull on landing (most clients are very soft skinned), the highest grade cabins that hold 5+ in each (each sightseer takes an entire cabin for their staff) and enough fuel to get there and back again in one go (~115LY total). Add a fuel scoop if that last part is too close for comfort.

Don't accept criminals, unless you want to risk a rebuy (silent running on big ships is not super-effective) or military staff (they don't like getting scanned, either).

Nah. No shields required If Robigo Mines is still anarchy, go there instead. It is an Outpost, harder to crash/hit something along the way. A fully fsd engineered with appropriate light weight internals, with a class 6 module as class 5,you can easily do the jump in two.

Also you get missions around 4.5 million there, whereas around 3 is max at the Hauser station. Plus closer.

Python, all passenger cabins, economy, only take prisoners, makes no sense not too. Its 20M a run avg, many ar 24-25 mil, without board flipping, which is a waste fo time, more like 30 if you go without shields or auto dock
However you need to make it in 2 jumps which is a 5A FSD with grade 5 distance upgrade, without that, really lowers your pay ratio.
GO to mines, not Hauser, makes no sense, its father, by a few minutes, and its between the ring and gas giant so the approach is twice as long. For what? notihng.

I would put bigger module slot as first class (Size 6) or business class (Size 5). The rest economy. Rarely does an economy mission pops up where a size 4 don't fit (if ever?) and gives you a chance to get all the missions in case RNG give you slimmer pickings

IIRC the size 5 economies do get filled but the 6 never does.. I'd have to double check, But swtiching out the cabin now isnt worth the time LOL. I will check it out though..

I just started playing like a week ago and im just doing it with Economy Cabins and a class 3 shield. My understanding is that unless you engineer your FSD you cant really do the 2 jumps they show in guides.

The good news is, FSD range is probably one of the easiest things to engineer to grade 5 in the game. Felicity Farseer is really easy to unlock and the only grade 5 materials you need are Datamined Wake Exceptions, which are easy to farm :)
Datamined Wake Exceptions easy to farm? i wish
^Have you been to a distribution center?

Just pick data materials as rewards from a few of the runs and bring those to a data material trader. ;)

Since we are on the Robigo Subject. I have been meaning to ask this.
Is Robigo Mines better than the Hub you find on Robigo for the same trip?

Robigo mines can be reached in ~500 ly, the Hub is around ~1100ly, It may seen like a small difference, but when I start to get the timing right... "2 jumps, geting into Sirius Atmospherics and start the 2 jumps back before the scanner is finished with the visite satelite becomes a really quick trip", but then those extra ~600ly add some unecessary time.

Robigo Mines can fill the 5E Cabins with a trip worth 3 to 5million credits EACH cabin.
The Hub has an average of 1.5 to 2 million, however, I can park an Anaconda on it and carry a lot more cabins.

It almost seens like using a Python at Robigo Mines over an Anaconda at the Hub (forgot the name) earns virtually the same (plus less time). But there is another factor. I can also get more trips for the Empire at the Hub, and it seens the since the hubs offers more trips for less, it also allows me to get more materials for engineering if I take those rewards instead of the shear credits.

I think you just answered your own question there. :)
Pick the one that gives more of what you need.

Yeah, I do Pyrthon at Mines, but if I did Hub would do Anaconda, still per time, I thought I did better at Mines
I was doing the Robigo with my Python yesterday and i just started using Voice Attack with Verity HCS voice pack. I was getting a hang of telling her to disengage as I approached the Sirius Atmospherics beacon and telling her "20%" for 20% impulse and then "Kill engines" as I coasted to a stop in front of the beacon.

Well, on a couple of occasions she got the throttle down and kill engines wrong and I collided with the beacon and exploded in a ball of flames due to having no shields. Lost the missions and had to rebuy; and dropped my reputation down to friendly with the factions...a very expensive mistake (twice)... Quite the incompetent sight seeing AI pilot...

Needless to say I no longer trust Verity to throttle down when I'm approaching something I can crash into and I take over the controls manually...
