Interacting with a hostile hub access terminal

I started playing a couple of days ago and yesterday I took a kill order mission for a terrorist of the "LFT 1672 Gold Brothers" faction.
According to my transaction panel, I'm supposed to find the target location by interacting with a Hub Access Terminal at a camp named "Mohri Camp +".
The issue is that this is a hostile mercenary camp. If I get too close, I get shot, and if I stay just out of range, I have no interaction options in my contact panel, and none of my scans give me any informations (Kill Warant, Data link, Composition, Discovery).

I tried to scan the nav beacons and check all the unidentified signal sources of this system, but I didn't make any progress regarding my mission.
I also noticed that when I scanned the unidentified signal sources and other points of interest of the system, the faction mentioned in my mission (LFT 1672 Gold Brothers) is nowhere to be found, so I thought it could be a good idea to check my galaxy map for nearby systems with a matching name (LFT 1672 which I found 6-7 jumps away), but even in this system, I can't find any traces of this faction.

What step am I missing to progress ?

You'll have to tank the shots while scanning, you might have to use the SRV and not the ship.

Oh, really ? I didn't even consider trying that because of how fast I was dying when I got close..
Can you tell me which type of scan it will require ? Contact panel or the ones from analysis mode so I can prepare myself for a scan attempt.

Should be a scan from analysis mode. If you use the rover you might be able to get some cover while you're scanning.

Has any of these types of missions required the Recon Limpet and Controllers to get the mission information after the initial Data Link scan?

So first of all, LFT 1672 Gold Brothers are totally in LFT 1672:

Which is irrelevant, because there's no reason why the target will be there, even if it's its home system. And wherever it is, the taget won't even spawn unless you've completed the previous step anyway.

I believe Recon Limpets are used to hack terminals in orbital installations (i.e. megaships), not planetary ones.

Interacting with planetary hubs should almost always be done in an SRV, as otherwise you risk losing your ship, voiding the mission.
