Controls cause ship to SPIN out of control

Using Mouse and Keyboard. In the tutorial, tapping the mouse slightly causes the ship/screen to spin out of control. Its an intolerable experience.

What I would like to know is; Is this normal? Will the slightest tap of the mouse always cause the ship/screen to spin violently out of control???

Sounds like you've toggled flight assist off. Check controls and remap it or change it from toggle.
