Personally I'm a pure PvE player. I grinded my butt off for weeks to get a Corvette. But it was worth it. I feel like I deserve to own this ship because I worked for it. Heck, I only took it for a test drive in a medium intensity ressource site and earned almost 2 million in, what, 20-30 minutes?
It paid peanuts but it just feels so rewarding after the grind I put up with to upgrade and engineer the ship. And I'm not even done! It only has grade 1-2 upgrades due to lack of materials. Not to mention I'm not the best pilot, either. I barely could take down other Kraits in my old Krait MK2. And here I am in the Vette, taking on FDLs without having to be afraid of getting shredded instantly.
The whole game is about roleplaying as what you want to be. I used to play as courier because it was my best option of making money. Now I'm playing as a Mercenary/Bounty Hunter who defected to the empire from the federation, and I love it.
Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Im also PVE player and i grindet up to an beluga cause i like these pilot missions, but i dont feel i deserved it to own the ship. i feel bored be grinding that much an i dont wanna do it again if i should loose that ship and dont have the rebuy. also fleet carriers are arround the corner and how shall i grind 5 billion? that makes no fun at all!!!!
im not that multiplayer person :(
