Why not just fly there with the conda?

Due to the jump range, I am getting about 16ly do I am using DB explorer.
It's a mining build.

currently at Colonia atm and to transfer my Mamba is 100 mil so an Anaconda is probable at least double that

Yeah not sure exactly how much but its going to be several hundred million at least, it costs me 8 to 10 million just to move mine to a nearby station inside the bubble,

Wait till june and load it onto a carrier that's heading to Colonia

Making an exploration build for the conda and flying it there will be cheaper than transferring it.

Ah, but if he's already in the desired location, he'd have to buy and fly something to where the conda is, then sell that, and outfit the conda... I think OP is asking mainly due to the time factor of having to fly out there and then back...

Personally, me thinks, sell it, and buy anew. After all, you can sell equipment and ships remotely. Of course, he may have maxed engineering and doesn't want to grind the mats again, so I understand.

Op says they are planning to visit Colonia... Not that they are already there.

yeah your looking at then 300 million range, + or - a 100 million depending on the size and cost of the ship.

That's a huge amount, I think selling it would be a better option.

Cheaper to buy another ship when you get to Colonia. Quicker, too....

Multiply the ship sell price by 3 and you have a good approximation. Hence it's a terrible idea to transfer that far unless its small and useful.

In case of the Anaconda, flying it yourself would be better. You can change its build to exploration, saving your mining modules and transferring the ones that you can't get in Colonia. It will save you the credits and you will still have the modules that you want to use.

Keep in mind that some high-grade modules you wouldn't be able to buy in Colonia.

Well, there was quite a good selection of modules available when I was there last year. Pretty sure you can get any mining equipment you may want.
