Hey, can you explain that in more detail? Can we do that with the base game?
Wing mining and trading is fun you all get the FULL individual amount and on top of that you get a % of each other players profit gain.
Some of the best fun i have that you may want to invest in horizons for is planetary landings..You can deploy fighters in the "atmo" of the planets and run canyon races, kill npc bases ect.
When i explore i bring a fighter and SRV just for that reason. New planet? first person to drift a canyon on that planet too.
Thank you!
Having a big ship and a friend be the launched fighter does sound cool. Something to work towards anyway. I typically avoid mining in games, but maybe will try that as well.
Is 'wing' basically an in-game 'group'? So as long as you are in the same group you will share missions and rewards? Do you have to be nearby each other or can we do two separate things and share the rewards?
Thanks!
All the activities here can be done with a friend.

Hey, what doe's engineered up mean?
Part of the Horizons expansion is equipment modification by engineers, special contacts you unlock in many ways who are all at planetary bases.
Base game ships do less damage, go slower, overheat more and can take less damage than engineered ones.
Many, but not all, but most wing mission target, NPC are balanced to fight engineered ships. So you and your friend will be at a distinct disadvantage against players and many NPC.

It's kinda nice. When you bounty-hunting, we each get a copy of the bounty. Even a % of trades, exploration/etc. You do need to be in the same instance for bounties. Same system for trades/exploration.
I'd make a Private Group as well, then make a wing.
