Mauve Adder
so yeah love your error code names but this one is rather hard on me.
not only does the connection go, it makes my game utterly unable to boot up after i had to force it to close with the task manager.
i had it three times now and each time it was in a menu and each time i had to restart my whole computer.
talk about first world problems. XD
as far as i know i have no issues with my firewalls and connection here.

Same here. I guess they play around with its "Matchmaking Server" for Beta 2. Its definitely not a fault of my system. Ping 14ms 400MB line.

I was able to start ED again after restart Steam.

Have fun

I am getting this error every time i make a jump to a system. Not sure what it means. It could be that i'm using college wifi, but I don't think i have connection issues with other games on the same wifi.

Edit: i also found out that i cant even enter super cruise without getting this error.

after lots of suffering i've finally fix this fking mauve adder every 5 minutes..

if anyone is having such troubles - use port forwarding

PORT FORWARDING
If your router does not support UPnP (Universal Plug 'n' Play) or if the feature does not work correctly, you may encounter issues playing Elite Dangerous. A solution to this is to manually allow Elite Dangerous access through your router.

1. To use port forwarding, you will need to configure your router which is a process often unique to each make and model. For more information on this please visit PortForward.com and locate your specific router. There should be a guide to help you set up port forwarding.
2. Elite Dangerous requires that you select a UDP port between 5100 and 5200.
3. Once your router is configured with a specific port, forwarding must be enabled in the Network options menu by switching Port Forwarding to 'On'.
4. Now set Mapped Port Number to the same number you configured your router with (5100-5200).

Yep, I've mentioned port forwarding endless times here on the forum.

People say 'the game should just work', but that's not the point. It works much better if you set up port forwarding.

Glad you resolved it.
