I got stuck on the planet when I get too close
How to fix it? Is it my connection problem where there's an invisible loading screen when we get near a planet and causes this glitch?

Basically, I can rotate my ship around but I can't move at all. This happens when I'm in the transfer from space to planet state.

Is anyone also experiencing this?

Do you have the Horizons DLC?

Need Horizons to land on planets.

Yeah, what PW said, otherwise you just get stuck in the atmosphere and have to fly back out

This is stupid. The game literally freezes you when you get close to a planet and I have to self-destruct everytime that happens because it's the only way to fix it.

If this is true then I think something is wrong with your game. When going into the atmosphere of a planet without the Horizons DLC, you just need to face away from the planet towards the blue circle "escape velocity" and charge your jump drive. If that isn't coming up for you then it's a problem with your game. (btw its's the same for getting too close to the sun)

That shouldn't happen.

What you should be able to do is turn around, face away from the planet, and activate supercruise to fly away again.

If that is not possible, then raise a ticket.

So you don't leave SS when you hit the atmosphere? You say it freezes but do you let it sit there and load the planet at all?

Whenever I get close to any kind of planet, my ship gets put in a stationary state and then I'm stuck.

Sounds like you hitting the exclusion zone (the yellow lines, if you have orbit lines enabled).
Right ship panel -> Ship -> Third Tab -> Orbit Lines

If you get pulled out of supercruise, you can only escape the exclusion zone by following the escape vector when enabling your FSD drive, it will very likely overheat your ship for a bit.

It's not "a stationary state" - you are dropped out of a supercruise, cause you come to a planet too close and cross the body exclusion zone.

You are not stuck. You should start your FSD to jump back to supercruise after the FSD emergency drop cooldown has finished, and point your ship at the escape vector away from the planet.

If you don't have the Horizons DLC, there is no reason for you to come too close to any kind of planet.
