Please help with mission trade...

New to the game, got the Sidewinder that got the SRV which limits inventory for 2 tons.

Now for the actually issue, I can't seem to complete any trading mission so far, regardless if it is a partial or complete trade. I can trade just fine with the market, but won't let me turn in those items with the mission. The quantity selector is redded out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to start enjoy this game, but these bugs on day 1 and 2 are just ridiculous. Or simply bad design and I miss something?

Are you sure you grabbed the 2 pieces that you could take and had them in your cargo? You can keep going back and forth 2 by 2 until you complete the mission.

So you have to grab the items from the mission, which is weird since any other games just gives you the items when you accept the mission, they don't make you manually take it too. I didn't notice the delivery option from the mission start.

Hi there, yes I found this a bit confusing at first to. As mentioned, you accept your trade mission. So the arrows going back and forth are for finding the resource and bringing it back to the current station but the single arrow will have the resource on the station your currently on. To check your cargo hold select 4 on keyboard and head to inventory it will be at the bottom. If not enough capacity for the trade missions you might need to grind a bit to upgrade your cargo racks. The simple courier missions can be accepted however times you want I believe. Hope this helps.

Just a good tip, check for courier missions to be in the same system to save some time. Often you can do double drop offs.

make sure that you have a cargo bay available on the ship and that u have the correct rank with said local group. bgs the status of the star system you are in will affect what missions are available. honestly getting started on the game u should be looking for data missions, they take no space in the cargo hold and allow u to take up to 20 data missions at a time.

When accepting a cargo mission, you MUST collect the cargo items **from the mission giver**. Even if you buy them from a market, they will not be accepted when you try to deliver.

As an addition, when doing follow-on missions which require you to transport goods, the items will be automatically placed in your inventory so don't get confused if you then can't withdraw them from the mission giver
