Robigo mining, still a thing?

I found myself in robigo recently selling LTDS and remembered people talking about stacking passenger missions from there.

In terms of making credits is this still a thing? Can you get several missions all to go to one destination? I've done passenger missions before but got sick of their stupid requests and parked near a star with silent running on to test my escape pod.

It is still a thing, completely dependent on rank / ally status and RNG for how much you would make. When I last did the Sothis grind (about a month ago), I was in a Python and only "neutral" status and I could make an average of 67 million an hour. A joke compared to mining in the same Python (130+ million per hour), but a decent alternative if you feel mining is TOO lucrative. I could obviously have made quite a bit more if I went to "allied" status!

And best way to circumvent the passenger requests mid-flight is to just ignore them. Do not click any buttons, I wouldn't even read them! They don't dock you credits if you don't interact. LOL

Can make over 20 million per run. Each run takes about 10 minutes or so, but you need to wait for board refresh (15 mins) anyway, so no point rushing the runs.

It means effectively 80+ million per hour. Its not bad, and its fairly straight forward.

You want a Python fully kitted out with economy (perhaps some business) passenger cabins. A small shield will do.

You'll be transporting mainly illegal passengers but do the run from Robigo mines and you won't ever get scanned.

Damn that's actually quite good, I'm just sick of mining. People were saying it was nerfed but it still seems ok, plus there's an achievement for passengers that I don't have

Be sure and carry plenty of heat sinks so you can carry wanted passengers without being scanned, you will fill the passenger seats much more quickly if you take wanted passengers. But as you approach the destination station you'll want to use silent running and will have to pop a heat sink here and there.

I ran Sothis for several hours (making 20 or so trips) and I never once got scanned. I don't think it's necessary at all, but it's always nice to have a method to escape it should it happen.

Awesome, I have not done those runs in over a year, probably 2 or longer, lol.

I got scanned a few times back when I was doing them.
