Will PS4 players be able to play with PC players?
I mean same intances and so on?
Would be awesome, because => bigger player base, seeing more CMDRs :)

Nope. Sony isn't letting any cross-platform features on their console it seems. Hopefully they'll realise that people will just buy an Xbox One or PC because they allow cross-platform.

No, Brett has said[forums.frontier.co.uk] that there will not be cross-platform play. Even if there was, the PS4 wouldn't have it.

well the way I'm seeing it is FDev don't want to half-ass it, they either want to get the whole job for EVERYONE finished or not do it at all, sony needs to stop being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they do the same sort of ♥♥♥♥ with console mods

"Star Trek: Bridge Crew" allowed cross platform play between PSVR and PC.It's true.
If games such as this are not released on XboxOne, will Sony accept cross-platform play with both PCs?
Or is it simply the money power ?

Untrue, Star Trek Bridge Crew is cross platform between PC and PS4.

If you don't subscribe to PSN then you won't even be able to play with other PS4 players.

That's not a "not ever" statement though. If you look through some of the streams where the question has been asked repeatedly, Sandro for example said several times that it's a feature they want, but which is for the foreseeable future on the "no promises, no ETA" pile.

Well, it's a thing I don't really understand.
It's something everyone wants and everyone would profit from (as far as I can see it).
I get it on certain games, where different controlers would have an advantage (e.g. FPS with M/K), but Games like ED?!? Can't find a good reason why we shouldn't be able to play together....
