data delivery and trade rank

Since several days my trade rank doesn't change when I do data delivery missions. Is this normal/intended? I think I remember that it used to have an influence on it. I've just done a bit rare commodity trading for a day and aside from that hundreds of data delivery and am already merchant so I guess it's a bug?

Your Trade Rank increases based on Total Trade Profit. Higher ranks tank a massive amount of profit to increase, it could be that your missions aren't earning enough money to push it very far.

Speaking for myself, I've been stuck at my current trade rank for a month.

Oh. That explains a lot. So I just found this list[elite-dangerous.wikia.com], is it up to date? Do the numbers stack or can you e.g. subtract the 3.7mio from the next rank? And is the percentage shown in the rank window right, I mean if I have 50% does that mean I have already 15mio collected?

Each next rank requires more work done than the previous one. Wait until you will be 1 rank below Elite, then you will know what a "really slow progression" means! :) Then to get 1% of increase you should get 6Mil of profits. Both, trading goods (trading profit counts), and running missions (mission payment counts) work toward the rank progression. Or at least they worked this way for me before 2.2.
