Railguns vs Imperial Hammers
Are C2 railguns still useful after player obtains the hammers? Not sure I want to keep the rails or to replace them by the hammers...

Really depends on how good your aim is, if you can land all three shots with decent reliability, get hammers, but if you can only land 1 or 2, stay with typical railguns.

Yes, imperial hammer generates almost twice as much heat, so it is best used with thermal vent beams or heatsinks. I'd suggest super pen/feedback cascade/plasma slug for the 40% heat decrease.
