Blueprints
So I have an anaconda and I can upgrade the FSD to Grade 4 using the blueprint, but on my corvette it only allows Grade 3
Is this normal?

No it's not. Do you have the materials for the grade four blueprint for the corvette ? if not that is one reason it is stopping you.

Does every ship has other material requirements?

no material requirements are the same for ALL ships .. just different for each GRADE of blueprint . like grade 1-5 have a different set of mats they require.

Sometimes, odd things happen. If it's not a material issue, you may have to actually fly to the engineer and upgrade your fsd there. I assume you are doing it from a station ,if not and you are already at an engineers base try re logging and see if that will let you proceed.

When you say you cannot upgrade to X level, are you actually upgrading them or just looking at what is "unlocked"? Only the next available upgrade tier will show. So if your drive is grade 2 upgraded, tier 3 will be available to work on but 4 and 5 will be locked.

are you trying to do it via station blueprint? if you are and the upgrade was done before you unlocked G4 with the engineer it won't work, you need to take it back to the engineer

on top of this it is better to do your upgrade's at the engineers as you will level up that mod quicker as it gain rep with that engineer.
once it is grade 5 no need to go back to engineer

Well sometimes it shows Grade 1-4, bust sometimes only Grade 4
it is because the module didn't have a roll left before advancing to the next level, if it did, you would have still been able to upgrade it via blueprint
I don't know if it is intentional or just oversight by Fdev
