No hardpoints, if you want them, will need bigger Power Plant and might want bigger Distributor
Has small shield, if you don't want, might be able to get smaller, lighter Power Plant
Could go with Class 6 Fuel Scoop but really not needed. You can scoop and jump quickly with 5
Thanks for the build Commander, will get this together now and start my journey to grab all the engineers o7
You can further engineer it for additional heat efficiency so you will always be safe on your travels no matter if you jump inbetween binaries or drop into white dwarfs. Always take the lowest weight A rated powerplant for exploration. In the case of the Asp it's a no brainer since 2A has more power, better heat efficiency AND is lighter than the 3D plant.

And i would highly recommend just unlocking Felicity Farseer (FSD engineer), engineer the FSD on Asp, and go for Guardian tech farming and unlock FSD Booster modul. That gives you additional 10Ly jump range for Asp/Conda after you purchase it (it's an Optional Module). Then continue with rest of them engineers.
Also bare in mind that lower class/grade thrusters may screw you over on higher g planets. Same goes for power distributor, make sure you can still boost as that may save your ship if you screw planetary landing approach.
Yep just experienced the pain of lower grade thrusters on planetary landing for meta alloys. Came in like an asteroid but luckily the shields held up. As it sits im currently going for felicity and will soon go for the guardian tech. After that i will be going for every other one just to get it out of the way.
There are some things you may not need, like shields, point defense (are those the top ones?), or SRV. However, this is a decent all-round, i think. Could probably swap out one AFM for a cargo, if you wanted (for Ram Tah's missions).
Oh, non-engineered. Why would you do that? You are flying to the engineers...
And, if you have a conda. Why not just refit it to Jump, it's got a much higher non-engineered jump distance. And, the parts are cheaper than buying an ASP.
