Music Playlist for Space Travel, any suggestions?

Greetings

I'm quite enjoying the game now that I know how to play it (mostly, combat is still a problem)
And I'm trying to cobble together a good music playlist for my travels in this space, especially since i'll be focussing on exploring for now to earn money for a better ship
Now, I was thinking of using Dark/urban country (blame Rebel Galaxy for that) but I'd love to hear what you guys use, or if you guys have any suggestions.

Tron Legacy ost.
I second FTL soundtrack, it really fits Elite. Also somehow I get the same, but darker vibe from The Mummy Demastered ost.
That recent movie about Neil Armstrong - First man - has some brilliant piece of music called "The Landing", and the movie is awesome check it out if you still haven't.

While I listen to some external old-terran music once in a while too, I have to admit I like the ingame music. They did a great job to have fitting soundtrack to various situations.

im usually watching movies or tv shows. but otherwise i think inara has a built in radio to their websites interface that has over 20 stations, and all different types of music. i try to go for the quieter stuff while exploring,.

Depends on what I do. If just roaming, hauling cargo or stuff like that, then stoner, or even sludge. When I exploring, post-rock, progressive, etc.

Tried FTL soundtrack, doesn't fit for me one bit for some reason. It would fit if Elite looked more like 8/16-bit classic or had any of that retro nostalgia going on IMO, but it looks super modern, cold and dystopian. Quite sure Starsector OST would fit it like a glove tho, gotta try actually...

Huh? Exploring is fine, but if you need credits quickly to buy a ship then why don't you go mining? Mining motherlodes can earn you millions and millions within hours!

As for music, the Firefly soundtrack is fine for a pioneering space theme, otherwise some good old blues from the likes of Sonny Terry & Browny McGee, Elmore James, John Lee Hopkins and so on can be listened to all night long ;)

Dark Urban/ Country? You could try Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, not really "space music" though. But really good.
