You would make WAY more just "honking" every jump between the bubble and there. On average, those who explore each system without planet mapping could make 50 mil+ just in exploration data.

if you're going to make your way to Colonia...do it in Solo....you WILL get ganked when you reach Colonia in open...lost about 70mil in data when i did that

That trip drives many CMDRs space mad. You have been warned. (you also might want to unlock the colonia engineers, and pin their blue prints while you are out there. Not all of their mods are available in the bubble.)

2 mil CR reward for flying to Colonia, haha... It would cost you WAY more just to outfit ship for the trip, and as previously mentioned, if you at least FSS small systems, you will become billionaire quick selling hundreds of millions worth of exploration data.

And on engineers, maybe I'm misinterpreting what Crimson Echos said, but there are no unique mods Colonia engineers have, you cannot get around the bubble. I still maxed those, but it's really pointless.

That's why you have to land on Raxxla first to equip yourself with the stealth technology you can get there.

Getting to Colonia via the Neutron highway is pretty quick and simple. Dock at some asteroid stations along the way just in case you meet up with some baddies. You will respawn there if you die. You can probably make the trip in 8 hours. Sounds like a lot but making the trip in today's tech would take around 20K years. So 8 hours is pretty good.

as someone who made a trip to saggitarius A to colonia and back in a barely 30 jump ASP explorer, take the neutron stars or get a really good jump range, just because you can slam a 30 jump range into your trash ship doesn't mean it's gonna be a quick ride to colonia
