ZombieHunter is not really likely to be confusing his missions, possible but not likely, he has been playing for some time, but i getcha
the mining missions have a rock illustration and source missions have opposing arrows, so you don't even need to read them

It is long gone now so I wouldn't be able to check anyways. That is a great payout. No way they are going to give you 34 million and source the Palladium just to move it from A to B.

I got 50 mil mission 2 week ago whic was "source 1816 palladium" for 48.. mil
and palladium seller was 15 ly away who had 3k+ palladium
doing source missions and they pay 10-50 mil for 1000-4000 legal or 200-2000 non legal goods
and fun thing is I have acces to near every commodity 5ly to 30 ly max

That is not the mission type I'm talking about. You sourcing is different from the mission sourcing. The ones that are the mission as the source say the cargo is unique to the mission and cannot be replaced and mission will fail if it is destroyed.

It comes down to how long and how much could you make otherwise with other activities? You definitely could not make that bounty hunting in the time it took to mine it. You might be able to do it with passengers. You couldn't do it with exploring b/c 34 mil would be at least 20k to 30k lyrs out and back which is 40k to 60k lyrs total. You might be able to with hauling missions if you get lucky and find the right system states.

Overall that is still a good payout. Palladium isn't that hard to find in the right pristine rings. I use to mine it all the time.

I could do it with 6 or 7 passenger runs with 3 to 4 hops each. I think the time required would be about the same.

Well I found it at Jameson Memorial right next to some other very sweet payouts. I can freely advertise that b/c you either have to be a backer or reached Elite in Combat, Exploration or Trade to get to the system. Not sure about CQC. So that limits the amount of people that can even get there to accept the missions.

I knocked out my last 2 3/4 rank in exploration and made about a 1/2 a billion dollars in 3 days (about 8 hours played in the game over the three days) and hit elite in exploration, all from one station and traveling 2 systems away doing a certain mission.

I have actually traveled very little in the game as far as disatance. The furthest being about 5250 Ly's or so.

Boom time delieveries is where it's at guys... very easy to make monies there. Just make sure an adjacent station is a good flight out from jump-in point so the mission reward is 2mil+ for a 5-10 min flight. Stack a few of those and you're good to go.

those missions i have seen go all the way up to 12mill without much of a fly in either(under 1000ls), shinrarta i have seen them even
they average about 4-5mill at elite/allied at most places
