best way to watch netflix while playing?

Multiple monitors. Chrome has picture in picture for YT. Not sure about Netflix.

I've said it long time ago - ED should come bundled with Netflix subscription :D

have you tried ovrtoolkit? I like it better than ovrdrop, though i've only tried the free version of ovrdrop, can't compare it to the paid version.

I'm not sure about VR but I use OnTopReplica on my standard 2D monitor. Maybe it could be used in VR too?

yah ovrdrop is great in VR since it makes a movable window you can place anywhere on your canopy 8) i normally put it under the radar by my feet so when im mining i can just look down and watch some next generation haha

I use Oculus Rift standard desktop function. Grab the Netflix browser window's title bar (in my case with my xbox controller, holding both trigger buttons simultaneously), drag to a good position, probably high up in front of you, and press the pin icon in the bottom right. Done.

Use Win10 netflix app you can have the player over any game :)

Bumping an old thread I know, I used this program, http://www.hellov.io/
It worked wel land served the purpose, however don't think it's been updated in a while. I used this instead of OVR Drop because it's free and OVR Drop had mixed reviews.

However not sure what the best current solution is for this.
It did use it on the Oculus CV1 so can't confirm if it works with Index.

It works via an injection method so not sure if it would get you banned from ED Online. I used it in the past and it didnt.

If you use Oculus - open oculus dash board - bottom right click the plus icon - select whatever browser you are using - press B (with the right controller) on the window and "PIN" - hold grip button and use the thumb stick to resize the window and move it to where you want - close dash board and the window will stay - enjoy.

I use the popup video which comes built into firefox adjust the video to be center top and play :)
