For any other purpose i don't bother, just use the free no weight option.
Whilst lightweight reduces your ship's hull integrity, you can jump further and faster. You can use experimental effects to redeem some of the loses and just ensure you get better shields that don't break easily.

That should get all 3 resistance types over 15%, which you can supplement with Hull Reinforcement Packages (HRP) as needed.
If you're hunting Thargoids, Military Grade Composite with Heavy Duty and Deep Plating would be better, though, since you'll want more HP overall instead of resistances.
